Our Day

The daily schedule is child-led with an overall structure of:

8:00 Early drop off

9:00 Drop Off : Children arrive, greet each other, parents have time to chat with staff. We say goodbye to parents around 9:20 and shift into our daily rhythm.

9:30 Morning Meeting : Coming together as a group, welcoming the day, voting on activity options and having a snack

10:00 Morning Block : Our largest block of self-directed time with rotating options of enrichment/free play/emergent projects/outdoor play

11:30 Lunch : Children are free to eat when they are hungry, usually dining in small groups, reflecting over our morning block discoveries and achievements

12:00 Pick up for half day kiddos.

12:30 Afternoon Block : Quiet time for our littlest members.

For the older kids quiet time is an option, but most turn to independent work or a small group activity during this time

2:30 Clean Up : Coming together to clean our space, have a snack and reflect on our day as a group and say our goodbyes

3:00 Pick Up or stay for extended day until 4:00
